Drugstore Makeup Haul: Maybelline, Loreal, Ardell and More!

I know it may not seem like it, but I do love a good bargain product! In an effort to showcase a couple of my drugstore favorites, I wanted to share my haul from this weekend.

I hit up Target and Ulta specifically looking for to cheap goodies. I feel like I never talk about my favorite products that don't break the bank and since I know lots of you are also glamorous budgetistas trying to keep it cute for the holidays, so let's share!

Loreal True Match in W8  Creme Cafe
This is like my first love for an inexpensive foundation. I don't consider myself hard to match when it comes to going to Walmart or Target to buy foundation, but I feel like L'oreal True Match really is the closest I can get to my skintone. It blends like a dream and is a great medium coverage formula. It is easily buildable and to sheer down for days that you just want to add a little color. There are plenty of days when I mix a  little with some moisturizer and rock it tinted moisturizer style.

ELF Blush Palette, cream eye liner, and brushes
If you are sleeping on ELF products because they are literally a steal at the store, you are missing out on some greatness.  The cream liner is a staple because it is super smooth and very black. I probably have 10 of the eyeshadow brushes all over my apartment. They are perfect for packing on lid colors. With them being so cheap, I can have one for every color I use for a smokey eye without having to clean it in between. The blush palette is new to me, but I gave it a shot before writing this, and holy makeup lover, it is bomb. Do you hear me? The pigment on this palette is life changing and you can't do better than $6 for 4 good-sized pans at the drugstore. Go get one. You'll see.

Maybelline Master Primer Blur and Smooth
Primer is something I must have in my collection. I have large pores on my cheeks and tend to get a tad oily in my t-zone, so it helps keep my face on. This one in particular is new for me. I heard it was a good dupe for the more expensive Make Up For Ever Smoothing Primer. I'm not sure about that. I need to go get a sample to compare the two. It says it is supposed to blur the look of pores and after a day or two of using it, I do feel like it does a better job of that than say my Benefit Porefessional. Me and Porefessional don't get along the way I wish we would, so if you have issues with that one, this could be a good alternative. It goes on smooth and absorbs quickly. It doesn't leave you feeling sticky, either. My makeup hasn't slid off my face yet, stay tuned for a more detailed review soon.

Ardel #113 lashes
Ardell lashes are a staple for anyone who loves glam makeup. Lashes aren't an everyday thing for me but I picked these up in prep for feeling festive for the holidays and kicking it up a notch. Ardell lashes are soft, flexible and reusable as long as you keep them clean, so I stock up whenever they're BOGO 50%  off at Ulta.

L'oreal Eyeshadow Quad in Sultry Seductress
I don't dabble in drugstore eyeshadows often. This is mostly due to me living my life out of palettes all the time.  I mean, really, with my 252 palette, I have to remind myself that I've spent money on more expensive Naked palettes that I need to love on, too. I definitely picked this up on a whim. The colors are super pretty, but after opening it and trying it out, I was a little disappointed. It takes a lot more patience to work with it than I'm used to. Using them dry, it was very glittery and had a bunch of fall out. Using them with a damp brush alleviated the fall out, but I still really needed to pack on the layers to get the color pay off I wanted. Once I got it on, though it was beautiful and I got lots of complements on it. I will have to keep playing around with it to see what kind of combinations I can come up with.

Well, my loves, that's all I have for you today. Do you have any favorite budget products that you are dying to share? Tell me about them in the comments or hit me up somewhere below. I love talking with you all!
